Carl Backs A/S is founded.

2001
Comtec International A/S is founded.

2005
Own production of workwear is established in Poland.

2008-2009
Comtec Int. receives the Gazelle Award in both 2008 and 2009. This national award is given to fast-growing companies, which have at least doubled its turnover over a four-year period.

2011-2013
Comtec Int. celebrates its 10th anniversary and expands its headquarters in Esbjerg Harbor to more than 2,500 sqm.

2014
Comtec Int. receives the Gazelle Award again.

2015
Comtec Int. receives the Gazelle Award again.

2016
Comtec Int. acquires Carl Backs A/S and establishes Comtec Int. UK Ltd. Comtec Int. receives the Gazelle Award again.

2019
ccbsafety establishes Comtec Int. USA Inc.

2020
ccbsafety establishes Comtec Int. Taiwan Branch.

2021
ccbsafety becomes ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified.
