The Hercules davit anchor point must, at least every 12 month, undergo the annual inspection as pointed out in the EN795 standard, This inspection must be done by a competent person trained by the manufacturer

Cleaning: If required, clean the Hercules davit anchor point and all its parts as outlined in this point, Do not use solvents or other chemicals to clean the base, if the anchor point requires cleaning, use warm fresh water to do so, Clean all the parts separately and let it dry before assembling / Lubrication; If the bearings needs to be lubricated only use products like Teflon spray, NEVER USE zinc rich products – these products damage the surface of the aluminum coursing corrosion and therefore destroys the anchor point
