ABSORBICA®-Y MGO European Version
The PETZL ABSORBICA-Y MGO is a ready-to-use double fall-arrest lanyard with a compact energy absorber, built for vertical progression, horizontal lifelines, and passing intermediate anchors. Designed for user weights from 60 to 140 kg, it comes equipped with two large-opening MGO connectors and a secure harness carabiner. The system is available with either standard rope arms or flexible, elasticized arms.

This fall-arrest system minimizes bulk while ensuring optimal physical protection during high-altitude maneuvers:
- Progressive tearing of the internal webbing limits the impact force exerted on the user in the event of a fall.
- A heavy-duty fabric pouch shields the tearing element from abrasion and environmental contaminants, while a straightforward opening mechanism allows for quick routine safety checks.
- The elasticized webbing on the FLEX version extends as needed, providing maximum reach while remaining taut to stay completely clear of the user's movement.
