ASAP LOCK AXESS KIT - US version
Accompanying a suspended person during descent is a critical rescue maneuver that demands speed and precision. Utilizing ASAP and ASAP LOCK provides essential backup security when evacuating an injured partner through a controlled downward descent. By connecting the rescuer directly to the victim, the process is streamlined using a single descender for maximum efficiency. This professional-grade approach ensures a rapid response and a steady, secure evacuation in urgent high-angle environments.

To ensure a controlled and responsible evacuation, the following technical guidelines must be observed:
- Use exclusively the ASAP’SORBER AXESS, as this energy absorber is specifically tested and approved for two-person rescue scenarios.
- Observe strict weight limits; standard models like ASAP’SORBER 20 and 40 are designed for single-person use only and are not suitable for accompanied descents.
- Minimize the risk of shock loading and pendulum effects by closely monitoring anchor points and rope integrity throughout the maneuver.
- When utilizing two independent safety ropes, it is recommended to connect both ASAP units to the rescuer's sternal attachment point to prevent the victim's gear from complicating recovery.
- A combination of an ASAP’SORBER 40 and an AXESS may be used, provided the unit equipped with the AXESS absorber remains active during the entire operation.
