ABSORBICA®-Y MGO Lanyard - European Version

The double lanyard functions with users weighing between 50 and 140 kg. It has elasticized arms to avoid hindering progression, and with two MGO large-opening connectors, it is certified to European standards.

The energy absorber function in the event of a fall will be tearing of the energy absorber webbing, limiting the impact force on the user, and progressive tearing reduces the deceleration on lightweight users. The energy absorber is protected from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber by a durable fabric pouch with an opening system at each end.

The lanyard has two options for installation on the harness, depending on use:

• Frequent connection/disconnection: Use a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING positioning accessory (included with the lanyard) or a MICRO SWIVEL to avoid tangling.
• Semi-permanent connection: Use a RING OPEN gated ring whose circular shape allows optimal positioning or a SWIVEL OPEN to avoid tangling.
