- SR 299-2 is a combi filter consisting of a class 1 gas filter and a class 3 particle filter
- The filter is intended for use with Sundström full and half masks
The filter is of the ABEK1-Hg-P3 R type and protects against various types of gases and vapours:
- Type A - organic gases and vapours, such as solvents, with boiling points > +65 °C.
- Type B - inorganic gases and vapours, such as hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide and chlorine.
- Type E - acidic gases and vapours, such as hydrogen fluoride and sulphur dioxide.
- Type K - ammonia and certain amines, such as ethylene diamine.
- HG-P3 - mercury
