ABSORBICA®-Y TIE-BACK

Discover the ABSORBICA®-Y TIE-BACK, a double lanyard featuring integrated intermediate tie-back rings and a compact energy absorber. Ideal for vertical progression on expansive structures and navigating intermediate anchor points, this system is designed for users weighing between 50 and 140 kg.
L015AA00

The TIE-BACK system allows the lanyard ends to be reconnected to fit around structures with a very large cross section. The arms are elasticized to avoid hindering progression. The ABSORBICA®-Y TIE-BACK lanyard is engineered to absorb energy during falls, its advanced design includes tear-resistant webbing to limit impact force. Suitable for users weighing between 50 and 140 kg, the progressive tearing feature ensures optimal deceleration for lightweight users. Embrace minimal bulk with this lanyard. Featuring a compact energy absorber for easy handling and elasticized arms to ensure unhindered progression. Rely on the robust fabric pouch with dual-end opening for the ABSORBICA®-Y TIE-BACK lanyard. Designed for durability, it shields the energy absorber from abrasion and contaminants. Its thoughtful design allows for easy inspection.

Two options for installation on the harness, depending on use:

  • Frequent connection/disconnection: using either a carabiner held in correct position by the STRING positioning accessory (included with the lanyard), or a MICRO SWIVEL to avoid tangling
  • Semi-permanent connection: using either a RING OPEN gated ring whose circular shape allows optimal positioning, or a SWIVEL OPEN to avoid tangling
