The easy2-MOB is an advanced AIS/DSC emergency beacon, combining AIS MOB alerting with DSC capability. It supports automatic or manual activation and sends and receives open-loop distress calls, alerting nearby vessels immediately in a man-overboard situation for faster rescue.

This sea rescue transmitter provides the following features:
- Works with many automatic life jackets without extra setup
- Activates automatically on water contact
- Broadcasts AIS emergency alerts to all AIS receivers in range
- Repeats AIS alerts with updated GPS coordinates
- Sends DSC distress calls to up to 8 ships in "closed loop" mode
- Switches to "open loop" DSC distress call automatically after 10 minutes
- Battery life of 12+ hours
- Powerful red LED torch included
- 1-watt transmission power in AIS mode; 0.5-watt in DSC mode
- Fully buoyant without needing extra flotation aids
- No annual fees or license requirements
