The PARAT® filtering escape hoods are designed for quick, efficient escape, offering easy use and comfort. With a durable case and sealed filter, they provide at least 15 minutes of protection from toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapours, and particles.

The Dräger Escape Hood offers the following features:
- Quick 3-step escape: Open the packaging, remove the hood, and don it. The filter automatically deploys, and the self-adjusting head harness requires no extra adjustments
- Reliable protection: Available for fire, industrial, or combined escape scenarios
- 16-year service life: Replace the filter after 8 years to extend the hood’s total service life to 16 years
- Ergonomic and robust design: Carry the hood using a belt, shoulder strap, grip clip, or mount the hard case on a wall
- Packaging: Comes with Soft pack, which provides dust protection (IP5) and features a viewing window to check the filter expiration and a security seal to indicate tampering
